Pastor Brian Juriansz introduced
me to a real living Saviour, way back as a teenager in the Kandy (SRI LANKA)
Church soon after my own father had passed away in February of 1950. We had a
wonderful group of church members with many young people. He, together with
Pastor C.C. Kurunathan and Pastor Fred Hardin built a new church and we had
many happy Sabbath schools, worship services and Missionary Volunteer meetings.
Even church picnics at the Peredeniya Gardens, church socials, and Dorcas sales
made us all long for Jesus’ soon return. He encouraged me to go to Spicer
College and I went, graduated, and taught at Lakpahana School under his
brother, Pastor Eric Juriansz. I am so looking forward to seeing him in Heaven.
I will always treasure having him for a friend and minister.
